We raise our pigs in the woods where they browse on nuts, roots, grubs and anything else they dig up. We feed them a certified organic feed without corn or soy. They get organic veggies, eggs and raw milk. We play and love on them like dogs.

Sister pig loves belly scratches and will roll over and show you her belly any chance she gets. She’s one of our two sows. Sister is 3/4 Mangalitsa 1/4 Old Spot Sow. Truffles is our other sow, she and Sister have the same Mangalitsa Sire. Truffles is 3/4 Mangalitsa, 1/4 Berkshire. We prefer a 3 way cross for faster growth and hardiness. Mangalitsa’s have a high lard yield and are known for their delicious meat. Tex is our Boar. He is a Red Wattle that’s never met a stranger. Red Wattles are a heritage breed that have much leaner meat known for its marbling. We find that combining these breeds produces a balanced meat.
